for the birds

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold;
When it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."
-Charles Dickens

When you walk into a coffee shop and meet your shooting team for the day you normally don't want to hear that the theme is, "something like a high fashion bird." And you probably don't want to be dressed as a bird and then shooting in a national, public park. With the high being something around 30 degrees for the day - and cloudy, nonetheless. But so goes the lucky, glamorous life of a model.

With the first thought aside, the day turned out so much better than I imagined. The cold chill in the air was a bit unbearable at times (especially when I'm down to nothing and changing in broad daylight with only a screen of people surrounding me), but if you saw the video link in my previous post you understand how amazing the pictures are actually going to look. Mostly because it was such an amazing team of friends shooting together. Hopefully I'll have something to show everyone soon!

My Friday was super chill though, I had the morning off and then the afternoon was filled with some castings (one being for Urban Outfitters - serious prayers welcomed to ensure that one), some walking around Oxford Street, and now some online work I need to finish up from the week. I'm planning a massive school day for tomorrow so I won't have much to work on during the week, and then Sunday I'll be shooting with Georgia around London! Super excited for that - In the meantime, enjoy some link love from around the web this week...
